The following information accompanied stocks donated to the Bloomington Stock Center by Paul Adler, University of Virginia.
TI{TI}frtzmNeonGreen.DsRed - the mNeonGreen tag has been inserted into the C-terminus of frtz. A loxP cassette containing a DsRed marker is also present. frtzmNeonGreen.DsRed is fully functional and suitable for in vivo imaging.
TI{TI}inPD.DsRed - the entire coding region of the inturned (in) gene has been replaced by a loxP cassette containing a DsRed marker.
TI{TI}inmRuby2.DsRed - the mRuby2 tag has been inserted at the N-terminus of the inturned (in) gene. A loxP cassette containing a DsRed marker is also present.
Each allele was generated using the CRISPR/Cas9 genome editing technique. The details of the methods and plasmids used are described in Wang et al., 2017, G3 (Bethesda) 7(4): 1323--1337 (FBrf0235210). A loxP cassette containing a DsRed marker (inserted during the genome editing process) is present in each of the alleles described above, while the similar alleles described in FBrf0235210 have each had the loxP cassette excised.
