The following information accompanied stocks donated to the Bloomington Drosophila Stock Center by Amir Fayyazuddin, Dart Neurosciences.
Df(1)Sik2-10 is a deletion in the Sik2 gene (including the start codon and first three coding exons) generated by imprecise excision of P{EP}Sik2G366. It also removes a portion of the 3prime UTR of CG4281. The breakpoints of the deletion are approximately X: 2,059,079..2,062,409.
Sik213 is a deletion in the Sik2 gene generated by imprecise excision of P{EP}Sik2G366. The breakpoints are unknown. The deletion could also affect neighboring genes.
P{UAS-Sik2.F} carries full length Sik2 under the control of UAS.
P{UAS-Sik2.F}attP2 is a homozygous viable and fertile insertion on the third chromosome in an attP site at 68A4,  3L:11063638 .
