I have re-analyzed the sequence of the 5prime end of the transposon insertion P{Mae-UAS.6.11}LA00286 (FlyBase ID: FBti0070952) that was amplified by inverse PCR as part of the Gene Disruption Project. There is a deletion at the 5prime end of the transposon that deletes the terminal ~22-23 bp of the vector and an undetermined sequence of the flanking DNA. The 5prime terminally-deleted vector is joined to flanking genomic DNA at reference genomic sequence location 2L:21813055..21813056 (release 6). The flanking sequence at the 3' end of the transposon has not been determined.
