The following information accompanied stocks donated to the Bloomington Drosophila Stock Center by Florian Schober and Anna Wredenberg, Karolinska Institutet, Sweden.
TI{TI}CG4743^R166Q was generated by cloning CG4743 sequence into pGE-GMR-attB and then using phiC31 to insert this sequence into the attP site in TI{TI}CG4743^KO (after first removing the loxP cassette). This results in a reconstituted CG4743 transcription unit at the native locus, mutated so that it carries a R166Q amino acid substitution. The R166Q change is equivalent to a variant with clinical significance in the orthologous human gene.
