The following information accompanied stocks donated to the Bloomington Stock Center by Rick Ordway, Pennsylvania State University.
P{UAS-EGFP.futsch.LC} expresses the light chain of futsch tagged at its N-terminus with EGFP under UAS control. As described in Zou et al. (2008; FBrf0206815), futsch protein is cleaved into an N-terminal heavy chain and a C-terminal light chain between residues 5245 and 5246, where residue 5246 is the first leucine in the sequence LPSPAPLPVEGGADIRTTPKKER...
P{UAS-tdTomato.futsch.LC} is identical to P{UAS-EGFP.futsch.LC} except for substitution of tdTomato coding sequences for EGFP coding sequences.
P{UAS-EGFP.futsch.LC}42A and P{UAS-tdTomato.futsch.LC}77D are homozygous viable and fertile, third chromosome insertions.
