The following information accompanied stocks donated to the Bloomington Stock Center by Rick Fehon, University of Chicago.
TI{TI}Strn-MlckGFP is a CRISPR-mediated insertion of sequences which place a GFP tag at the C-terminus of the RB, RG, RM, RS and RU isoforms. The DsRed cassette that was used to identify the original insertion has been removed.
TI{TI}Strn-MlckKD is a CRISPR-mediated replacement of the exons encoding the kinase domain with 3xP3-DsRed.
The isolation of both alleles was described in Jiajie Xu's dissertation (https://www.proquest.com/docview/2161764413).
