Description

A set of transgenic insertion stocks derived by TE mobilization using the Tni\piggyBac-based protein-trap construct PBac{HpaI-GFP.A}. The construct carries a y+mDint2 mini-yellow visible marker and an Avic\GFP vital fluorescent protein-trap marker.

Use of a high-throughput embryo sorter allowed screening of very large numbers of animals for GFP-expressing protein trap insertions.

Protein trap line.

The insertion is probably associated with a secondary lethal as the chromosome is homozygous lethal but hemizygous viable.
