Membrane targeting sequence, MGCCFSKT. This sequence can be myristoylated on the N-terminal Met residue, while the Cys residues at positions 3 and 4 act as palmitoylation sites. Together, these sequences act to target a tagged protein to the membrane (PMID:17868096).
