Fragment containing the destruction box (D-box) degron from the Drosophila melanogaster CycB gene. This degron sequence targets a protein for proteasomal degradation by the cell-cycle regulated APC/C ubiquitin ligase. If a protein of interest is tagged with this sequence, it is expected to be targeted for degradation from mid-mitosis through the G1 phase (FBrf0224767).
