C2 domain from lactadherin (species of origin unknown). This domain binds specifically to phosphatidylserine. It can thus be used to monitor the distribution of phosphatidylserine within a cell, if fused to an appropriate reporter protein (FBrf0229365), or to target a tagged protein to a particular subcellular localization via phosphatidylserine binding.
