Tag:ER(HNeu) corresponds to an artificial peptide generated by fusion of a hydrophobic domain (from ALDI) with the last 20 residues of caveolin-1, and in which the three positive amino acid residues in the caveolin-1 sequence have been mutated to Gly. This results in a peptide that accumulates on the endoplasmic reticulum but is excluded from lipid droplets (PMID:24368806).
