GRAB(Ado1.1m) is a genetically encoded fluorescent sensor for adenosine. It is a G-protein-coupled receptor activation-based ('GRAB') sensor based on the adenosine receptor encoded by the Homo sapiens ADORA2A gene (HGNC:263); the third intracellular loop of ADORA2A has been replaced by a circularly permuted form of EGFP (cpEGFP). GRAB(Ado1.1m) contains two additional mutations (one in the cpEGFP sequence, one in the ADORA2A sequence) compared to the Ado1.0 sensor described in PMID:32883833 (FBrf0259177).
