RSET-jGCaMP8s is a genetically encoded fluorescent Ca[2+] indicator that was generated by adding an N-terminal RSET leader sequence to jGCaMP8s. RSET-jGCaMP8s shows improved basal expression and resting fluorescence compared to jGCaMP8s and retains the fast kinetics and high signal-to-noise ratio of jGCaMP8s.
