RSET-jGCaMP8f is a genetically encoded fluorescent Ca[2+] indicator that was generated by adding an N-terminal RSET leader sequence to jGCaMP8f. RSET-jGCaMP8f shows improved basal expression and resting fluorescence compared to jGCaMP8f and retains the fast kinetics and high signal-to-noise ratio of jGCaMP8f.
