iGABASnFR1(F102G) is a genetically encoded fluorescent sensor designed for in vivo detection of GABA (γ-aminobutyric acid), generated by mutagenesis of iGABASnFR1. iGABASnFR1(F102G) contains a single amino acid substitution in the GABA-binding Pf622 protein part of the sensor (F102G) relative to iGABASnFR1, which results in a variant with higher affinity and ΔF/F, but which shows lower baseline fluorescence and intracellular accumulation in neurons (PMID:31308547).
