Description

Dfd promoter sequences mapping between 5.4 to 4.5 kb upstream of the Dfd transcription start site are fused to a heat shock gene basal promoter, the lacZ coding sequence and an heat shock gene polyadenylation site.

lacZ gene expression is driven by module D of the Dfd epidermal autoregulatory element (Dfd EAE) fused to an Hsp70 minimal promoter.
