Description

Region of the Gld promoter from -425bp to +84bp drives lacZ expression.

0.5kb PstI-BclI genomic fragment from the Gld promoter region (-425bp to +84bp), including the palindromic sequence from the promoter region and the first 84 nucleotides of exon I, is fused upstream of the Adh leader sequence, translation start site and 30 codons followed by the lacZ coding sequence. Poly(A) sequence is provided by SV40.
