Description

Transgenic construct used to study the properties of the su(Hw) binding region of the gypsy element. Contains the y+t7.7 minigene, with 12 copies of the su(Hw) binding site of gypsy, sequences between nucleotides 647 to 1077, inserted into y+t7.7 at position +1310bp, in same orientation as gypsy in y2.
