The UbxFBtr0091350:pb-XREcollacZ reporterconstruct EcollacZUbx.bx drives expression in a pattern similar toendogenous Ubx expression. At the cellular blastoderm stage, it is expressedbetween 50% and 25% egg length in the posterior region of the embryo. At thebeginning of gastrulation, four stripes of expression begin to appear which areresovled into an pair-rule pattern in parasegments 6, 8, 10 and 12. Laterduring gastrulation the anterior border of expression is parasegemtn 5.Expression is detected in bothe the ectoderm and visceral mesoderm of theembryo, and later in development slight expression in the ventral neurogenicregion.
