Description

Transgenic construct used to investigate gypsy insulator activity. Contains divergently transcribed w and lacZ reporter genes with a 500bp eve stripe 3 enhancer (E3) inserted between them. A 340bp gypsy insulator (SU) and a 330bp rho lateral stripe enhancer (NEE) have been inserted downstream of the lacZ coding sequence.
