Reference

Reporter exrpession is first observed at embryonic stage 11, in maxillary epidermal cells, and in ventral mandibular cells that will contribute to the subesophageal ganglion. Expression ectopic to the native Dfd pattern is observed in the epidermis of the labial segment, and in a few cells in the posterior lateral region of each segment.
