Description

Transgenic construct used to study promoter competition and promoter-enhancer interactions. Encodes three reporters; a w minigene expressed under the control of its own promoter, Tn9CAT driven by a w promoter and lacZ driven by an eve promoter. The Abd-B IAB5 enhancer has been inserted downstream of the lacZ reporter. The 300bp rho NEE enhancer has been inserted in between the two divergent promoters of the Tn9CAT and lacZ reporters.
