Description

Transgenic construct used to study promoter competition and promoter-enhancer interactions. Encodes two divergently transcribed reporters; lacZ driven by a w promoter into which a synthetic TATA sequence has been inserted, and Tn9CAT driven by an eve promoter. The Abd-B IAB5 enhancer has been inserted downstream of the lacZ reporter.
