Description

A 0.7kb stg promoter fragment from -731bp to +39bp is fused upstream of Ecol\lacZC4.Adh. The resulting construct contains two stg TATA boxes and two transcription start sites. An XbaI fragment from the 3' untranslated region of stg is inserted downstream of the lacZ coding sequence.
