Transgenic construct used to analyze the insulating activities of human matrix attachment regions (MARs) in a position effect assay. Derived from P{mwS'}; a 786bp XhoI fragment containing the Hsap\APOB 3' matrix attachment region (MAR) has been inserted upstream of the w transcription unit.
