A chimeric construct encoding amino acids 1 to 147 of Scer\GAL4 (the DNA-binding domain) and the intracellular domain of N (amino acids 1791 to 2703) is separated from an Hsp70 promoter by an FRT cassette containing a polyadenylation signal.
