Description

P{FRT(RS3).y} contains a 4.3kb non-functional, partial y gene sequence and a functional w[+] marker allele, w+mW.FRT.hs, which has an FRT site within the first intron. A second FRT site has been inserted upstream of the w+mW.FRT.hs marker (and downstream of the y sequence), in the same orientation as the FRT site in the w intron.
