Description

Transgenic construct used to study the properties of a subtelomeric satellite DNA sequence. Contains a w+* minigene, flanked on both sides by gypsy insulator sequence. A 8kb of A. gambiae satellite DNA has been inserted into the w+* minigene, between the w enhancer and the w promoter.
