Description

A 0.5kb stg fragment from -31bp to -525bp is fused upstream of Ecol\lacZHsp70Bb.HZ50. A KpnI site has been introduced at -31bp, destroying the stg TATA box at this position. The resulting construct has two functional TATA boxes, one at -501bp within the stg fragment and one within the Hsp70Bb minimal promoter sequences present in Ecol\lacZHsp70Bb.HZ50.
