Description

Transgenic construct used to examine the properties of the Mcp element from the bithorax complex. Derived from P{wRW+we}; a 464bp AflII-XbaI fragment (1507-1971) containing the DNAse I-hypersensitive region of the Mcp element, has been inserted between the w enhancer and w transcription unit.
