Description

Transgenic construct used in an enhancer-blocking assay to analyze boundary domain elements from the bithorax complex. Contains the Ecol\lacZHsp70Bb.ftz reporter, into which an approximately 800bp HindIII-EcoRI fragment from the regulatory region downstream of the Abd-B gene (encompassing the hypersensitive site HS1 and containing Fab-8 boundary sequences) has been inserted, in between the ftz enhancer sequences and the Hsp70-lacZ sequence.
