Description

Transgenic construct used to characterize the Fab-8 boundary element. A 3.6kb Xho-HindIII fragment from the regulatory region downstream of the Abd-B gene (the fragment is located just proximal to the Fab-8 element and contains iab-7 initiator elements) has been inserted upstream of a lacZ reporter regulated by a Ubx promoter.
