Description

Transgenic construct used as a control in a study to investigate factors that determine the effectiveness of the gypsy insulator. Encodes two divergently transcribed reporters; Tn9CAT driven by a ftz promoter and lacZ driven by an Scr promoter. The AE1 enhancer from the ftz gene has been inserted in between the two divergent promoters.
