Description

The FRT cassette has been excised, juxtaposing the sev enhancers and heat shock promoter with the fz::fz2 coding sequences. The chimeric fz::fz2 coding region consists of the N-terminal domain of fz2 (the first 308 amino acids) fused to the transmembrane and C-terminal domains of fz.
