Obp19c reporter is gustatory-specific and is expressed exclusively in six cells, including two cells in the labral sense organ. It is expressed strongly in a single pair of bilaterally symmetric cells in the labaral sense organ and weakly in a single cell in each ventral cibarial sense organ and dorsal cibarial sense organ in the adult. The larval dorsal organ is also stained. Obp19c and Obp56b are coexpressed in the same labral sense organ cells.
