Description

Transgenic construct used in a study to characterize a pairing-sensitive element from the en gene. en sequence from -576bp to -437bp relative to the en transcription start site is inserted upstream of the w+mC marker, in the opposite orientation to the w direction of transcription. Three binding sites for gl have been inserted in between the w promoter and the en sequence.
