Description

Transgenic construct used in a study to characterize a pairing-sensitive element from the en gene. en sequence from -576bp to -395bp relative to the en transcription start site, with an internal deletion of the sequence corresponding to melanogaster/virilis homology block 1, is inserted upstream of the w+mC marker, in the opposite orientation to the w direction of transcription.
