Description

7kb SalI-HindIII genomic fragment containing ovo in which ovo nucleotides 3666-5338 have been replaced with the ovo cDNA sequences. The resulting construct lacks ovo exon 2b and intron IIb sequences. In addition, the ovo open reading frame is tagged at the C-terminal end (two codons upstream of the stop codon) with lacZ.
