Description

Transgenic construct used in a study to characterize a pairing-sensitive element from the en gene. en sequence from -2407bp to -10bp relative to the en transcription start site is fused upstream of a lacZ reporter, in the opposite orientation to the direction of transcription of the reporter. The lacZ reporter consists of a 1.6kb fragment containing the BXD enhancer, a 3.1kb Ubx promoter fragment and the lacZ coding sequence.
