Description

Transgenic construct used to study a Polycomb group response element (PRE) from the hh promoter region. Contains a UAS-driven lacZ reporter and a w[+] minigene. A 3.4kb fragment from upstream of hh, that includes the PRE identified in the promoter region, has been inserted upstream of the UAS-lacZ and the effects on w expression have been analyzed.
