Description

Transgenic construct used to study long-range enhancer-promoter interactions in vivo. Contains two divergently transcribed reporters; w+mC and lacZ with a minimal P\T promoter. A 5.3 tmr fragment containing the iab-8 enhancer, Fab-8 insulator and 290bp of the 625bp promoter targeting sequence (PTS) has been inserted downstream of the lacZ reporter, orientated so that the iab-8 enhancer is proximal to lacZ.
