Description

Transgenic construct used to study the mechanisms by which transposable elements can interfere with host gene expression. Contains an FRT cassette containing the LTR of Idefix in the 5'-3' orientation, in which the transcription start of the Idefix LTR has been mutated from ATCAGAG to TGCAGTT, upstream of the w eye and testis enhancers and a w minigene.
