Description

Transgenic construct used to study the mechanisms by which transposable elements can interfere with host gene expression. Contains an FRT cassette containing the LTR of Idefix in the 5'-3' orientation, with a point mutation in the Inr sequence of the Idefix promoter, upstream of the w eye and testis enhancers and a w minigene.
