Description

Hsp26 promoter sequences from -1917 to +632 are fused upstream of lacZ. Hsp26 sequences from -134 to -85 (a 50bp (CT)n region) have been replaced by a fragment of the same length containing a (CCTTT)5-CC mirror repeat.
