Two tandem repeats of the eve U/CQ element (+3.5kb to +4.3kb relative to the transcription start site) are fused upstream of a chimeric protein consisting of the Scer\GAL4 DNA-binding domain, a Tag:HA tag and a portion of eve ('RC') containing both repressor domains.
