A UAS-Hsp70TATA-lacZ fragment was cloned into P{Express-glass} in place of the Hsp70 TATA sequence of that vector using KpnI and SacII. The result was GMR-UAS-Hsp70TATA-lacZ. Both UAS and GMR can drive lacZ expression.
