UAS regulatory sequences drive expression of a chimeric construct consisting of the full-length Csp2 isoform sandwiched between the N-terminal sequence (111bp) of nSyb and the C-terminal nSyb transmembrane domain (234bp) (this forcibly targets the Csp2 protein to synaptic vesicles at synapses).
