UAS regulatory sequences drive expression of N amino acids 1725-1770 (this fragment lacks most of the extracellular and most of the intracellular domains) fused to a nuclear localization signal (Tag:NLS(SV40-largeT)) followed by sequence encoding a lexA::VP16 driver at its C-terminal end.
