A conserved DNA sequence cluster from the ct gene (length: 689bp, conserved bases: 284bp) is fused upstream of a minimal Hsp70 promoter driving expression of the GAL4 open reading frame.

Reference

ScerGAL4ct.3 activates expression in a subset of neuroblasts during late sub-lineage development. Expression is also driven in neurons of the larval brain lobes and glia of thoracic segments of the ventral nerve cord. Expression is not detected at adult stage.
