Description

Transgenic construct used to study the evolutionary conservation of epigenetic mechanisms. It contains (3' to 5'): an FRT cassette containing seven tandem repeats of a 853bp sequence found in the paramutation control region of the Zea mays b1 locus, an Hsp70 promoter upstream of the w cDNA, an Hsp70 promoter upstream of EGFP.
